Great Walls Great Falls (ArtsFest MT) is back for its seventh year August 17th – 21st in Downtown Great Falls. The Great Falls Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to announce that there will be eight (8) new murals installed this year, thank you to our curator and partner Cameron Moberg out of San Francisco, CA. This is Cameron’s 8th year in Great Falls helping us recruit local, national and international artists to come and paint beautiful murals during the festival.
The festival began in 2019 and has continued to grow each year! This year we are welcoming returning artists Camer1sf. Joining him will be Sybe_1, Fio Silva, Zurik, Bublegum, Orlu Arts, Zack Curtis, Wes7seven, and Griffin.
Art installations will begin as early as Sunday, Aug 17 and will continue throughout the week in the alley behind the TimeSquare building at the alley of 6th St North, just off of Central Ave. There will also be community workshop offered this year, giving local artists an opportunity to learn the technique of spray paint and large mural installations. This workshop is supported by a grant from the Montana Arts Council. The BID will host an Artist’s Reception in the parking lot where the murals are being installed, where artists will be painting live and interacting with guests, followed by a live auction, music and fun kids activities.
