The Downtown Summer Jam concert
The Downtown Summer Jam concert series returns to Great Falls for Summer 2019. For three nights Great Falls becomes the live music capital of Montana as a stage is set up at the corner of Central Avenue and 5th Street in the heart of downtown. This year’s jam kicks off June 19 with Logan Mize.
Mize is an accomplished country singer/songwriter from Clearwater, Kansas, who has deep musical roots in his family tree. His great uncle was Billy Mize, largely known for crafting and evolving the legendary Bakersfield sound, which included musical pioneers Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. He has played with such country stars as Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Blake Shelton and many more.
His album “Come Back Road” debuted in the top 20 Billboard Country Albums and reached no. 2 on the iTunes Country Charts in 2017. Propelled by the album’s popularity, “Ain’t Always Pretty,” eclipsed 30 million streams on Spotify in 2018.
Downtown Summer Jam tickets are just $10 per show, or $25 for all three, and are available at Enbär, The Mighty Mo Brewing Company or online at www.downtownsummerjam.com.
